From Chalk to Clicks: My Journey into Digital Dreams
By Naseeha Farsana K.P
There’s something beautiful about unexpected turns in life — how one path leads to another, and how we discover ourselves in the most surprising ways. My journey from a young mother and teacher to a digital marketing enthusiast is a story I’m proud to share.
🌼 Early Beginnings
I’m Naseeha Farsana K.P., hailing from Mankavu — a place close to my heart and full of memories. Life changed for me at a young age. I got married at 18, and my husband, at that time, was doing his Ph.D. in Chemistry. A few months into our marriage, I found out I was pregnant. At 18, I became a mother to a beautiful baby girl.
Motherhood at that age was something I never imagined, but it turned out to be the most fulfilling experience. I grew up along with my daughter. We laughed, played, learned — it was like reliving my own childhood through her. That phase shaped me, matured me, and gave me an emotional strength I never knew I had.
📚 The Pursuit of Education
Even with a young child, I never gave up on education. My husband stood by me through everything, always encouraging me to follow my dreams. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in English from Calicut University, and soon after, I started working as a pre-primary teacher.
Teaching those little minds was an unforgettable experience. The innocence of children, their laughter, their endless curiosity — it brought so much joy to my days. I realized how much I loved teaching. That joy sparked a dream in me: I wanted to become a college lecturer.
To chase that goal, I enrolled for my Master’s in English, again from Calicut University. It was a beautiful academic journey. I appeared for the UGC NET exam three times. During my second attempt, I felt confident — the exam went well, and I eagerly waited for the results. But then came a major setback: the exam was cancelled due to external reasons. I was devastated. The third attempt didn’t go as planned either, and disappointment crept in.
🎨 Creativity as a Comfort
During those emotionally heavy days, I turned toward art. It had always been a part of me. I had started a small online page called "In My Hands", where I showcased my calligraphy and paintings. I do Arabic and English calligraphy, create personalized framed pieces, and pour my heart into every stroke.
What started as a small passion project soon turned into something bigger. I began getting custom orders, appreciation messages, and support from people I had never even met. That gave me the confidence to believe in my creative side. I wasn’t just an artist — I was a creator, a storyteller through design.
💻 The Digital Turning Point
After the third NET result, my husband looked at me one evening and simply asked, “What next?” That question changed everything.
I began exploring the world of digital marketing and design. It fascinated me — the idea that you could build brands, connect with people, tell stories, and make an impact, all through digital platforms. It felt like the perfect blend of creativity and strategy.
That’s when I joined CDA Academy.
From the moment I stepped into CDA, I felt a sense of belonging. The trainers and mentors here are exceptional — always encouraging, always guiding. I found my space, my community, and my direction. I'm now diving deep into the world of branding, content creation, logo design, and digital strategy. I'm learning every day, and I can finally say — I’ve found my calling.
✨ What Lies Ahead
My journey is still unfolding. I dream of becoming not just a digital marketer, but a storyteller — someone who helps others build their brand, find their voice, and shine online. With every skill I learn, I move one step closer to that goal.
So to anyone reading this — whether you're a young mom, a student, a dreamer, or someone facing failure — I want you to know this:
Your journey is valid. Your dreams are possible. It’s never too late to begin again.
Thank you for being a part of my story. I can't wait to share more with you soon.
With love,
Naseeha Farsana K.P
